How to Seamlessly Fill A Blank Space On Your Photo

Today I needed to add space to a photo I used to make a meme. The photo was wide and I needed it to be square. In order to make it square and still use all of the photo, it meant I needed to add blank space to the top of the photo.

I didn't want that space to be blank, I wanted it to look like the rest of the photo. So… I used the Content-Aware Fill tool in Photoshop to make it look like this:
